Ana Sofia Fernandes,
PhD in Pharmacy (specialty in Toxicology, 2010), received the title of European Registered Toxicologist in 2018. She is an Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusófona, and Director of CBIOS. Ana Sofia has published, since 2007, 45 scientific articles indexed to PubMed/Scopus and is author/co-author of about 100 scientific papers (oral and poster). Her main research interest is to explore the impact of ROS and redox modulators on tumor etiology and progression.
She currently serves as Secretary and Rapporteur o fALIES Audit Board

Edson Luis Maistro graduated with a degree in Biologic Sciences, and completed his PhD (1996) at the age of 31 from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil (Genetics area), with postdoctoral studies in Londrina State University (UEL), Brazil (Genetics, sub-area Mutagenesis). In 2009 he obtained the title of “Livre docência” and became Associate Professor at UNESP-Marília. Currently, he is a Professor in the Speech and Hearing Therapy department, UNESP-Marília, and is the coordinator of the Genetic Toxicity Laboratory. He is a supervisor in the Postgraduate Program in General and Applied Biology (Master and PhD students) at UNESP-Botucatu, Brazil, and also is a supervisor in the postgraduate “Health and aging Program” (Master students) at Marília Medicine Faculty (Marília), Brazil. He has published more than 89 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of several Journals. His research area is Genetics: Mutagenesis, especially investigating natural and synthetic products with pharmacological potential.
